Triblock allows administrators to update employees in bulk rather than doing so one by one. To perform a bulk update first navigate to the people module. This can be found on the left hand side in the navigation bar.
Once here, click the drop down button next to the 'create' button on the right hand side. There are two options, but click the button that says 'create bulk updates'. This will redirect you to the below screen.
You will be redirected to the create user bulk updates page as seen below. Which has several fields to fill in.
Fields:
- Effective Date: The date when the updates will go into effect.
- Description: The description of the update along with any important information.
- Select Employees: The employees you wish to include in the update.
- Update Items: Category of information that you wish to update.
Selecting employees
Clicking the 'click to select employees' button will create a popup on your screen. In this popup you are able to scroll and look for the employees you wish to add. Clicking on their row will add them to the list.
Additionally, you are able to filter out employees to make searching for them easier. By clicking on the 'filter' button on the right hand side of the popup, it takes you to a page that allows you to filter and sort by a variety of factors such as department, name, employment level, gender, etc.
Once completed, select the done button.
Updating items
To update particular parts of the profiles, click the 'add things to update' button. This creates a new field which gives you the option to select what you want to update.
