How to update a recognition monthly allowance?

A Recognition Allowance is the total number of points a user is allowed to allocate to a kudos each month. By default, every user is given 50 points. On the first of each month, all points are reset to the number of points configured in settings.

Important Note: When updating the monthly allowance, this will not take effect immediately, but will be updated for the following month's reset.

Navigate to the rewards and recognition settings page by clicking settings in the navigation bar on the left hand side, then scrolling down until you see the area on the picture below.

Click 'view monthly allowances', then either click on an existing allowance or click the 'create monthly allowance' button.

There are two fields:

  • Role: The group of employees (by role) that you wish to give the monthly allowance to.
  • Monthly Allowance: The number of points you wish to give the employees. Choose a number between 1 and 100.

After you've filled in the required fields, click the 'create monthly allowance button' and your changes will be made live.
